Dr. Megan Staples, Xinhai “Toby” Wei, and Kaitlyn Seeto researched and developed Mathematics in Democracy. Megan was the secondary mathematics professor to Toby and Kaitlyn when she started the project. Kaitlyn and Toby worked on this project while they were undergraduate students and then throughout their graduate years. Now, as alumni of UConn, Kaitlyn and Toby continue their journey as secondary mathematics teachers. Megan continues to work with aspiring secondary mathematics teachers in the UConn Neag School of Education.
